public transport? yes or no?

Finally today we had the last practice for FESENI Chinese Traditional Dance. So, it's a very good day to start off with my holiday. Planned to go for a movie with Joan. She has to go to KL Sentral to get her train ticket back to Penang, so she waited me in Mid Valley. *again? -___-. nearest place ma*

Went out after dressing up nicely. It always takes me more then 40 minutes to reach Mid Valley from my uni, which the journey actually only takes 20mins or maybe less. Nahh, at first you gotta take T632 bus (RapidKL) from ze uni to University LRT Station, then T631 bus to Mid Valley.
Let's simulate a situation: You take a bus from your residential college to the UM main bus stop to take T632 bus. There's also campus bus every 15 minutes on weekdays, every hour on weekends and holidays. For holidays, if you reach 30 secs later when the bus reach  your place, here you goes bye bye. So usually, i'll walk for 10 mins from my rc to the nearest bus stop to take T632. And then sometimes, you gotta wait for 15 mins also. And then 10 mins journey to University LRT Station. When you reach there, you STILL gotta wait for the bus T631. Sometimes, the drivers are here, shaking legs, smoking, chit-chatting, but they won't get in the bus on time just they wanna see a pasar of people waiting and lining up, looking very irritated, THEN only they will get in the bus. *guess they'll feel more satisfied* To assemble so many people, you have to at least wait for 3 rounds of LRT route. Each round takes at least 3 minutes. So add up, at least 10 mins to squeeze in bus T631. Simple maths ? 10 mins walking + 15mins bus+ 10 mins journey + 10 mins drivers get their mood to drive = 45 mins already. Another 10 mins journey to Mid Valley.

Wheee, reached ! after so long *facepalm*

Redeem the free movie ticket from Samsung Mob!lers for the horror movie "Mama" and smuggled in my Carls Junior Big Burger with Cheese combo set because i was rushing for movie already. Must give it a big thumb for the mouth-watering burger. It's a bit expensive compared to Mc Donald's of course, but the quality worth it ! charbroiled beef patty ( muh fav, i don't really like chicken act) with pickled cucumber and fresh made pure potato fries, and bottomless carbonated drink. I was shocked to see the big portion of the food. It was really big, and can last for 2 meals, serious.

 with Joan :)
the medium cup equals to large cup of McD i guess.

Still wanna comment a bit with the public transport in Malaysia. LRT ? Yes fast. Monorail? Snail speed. KTM, always delay. Bus? Jam together with other vehicles on the highway? Taxi? Too expensive ! What else? What i really dislike about public transport is you'll have to wait for very long and the time just got wasted like that. Punctuality is not in their dictionary. Waiting under a windy shield? Nope, under extremely hot 30 degree celcius covered bus stop with no guarantee you will not get wet if it rains. If you make up nicely and you take public transport, you'll usually end up in this.

All messed up, sweating somemore. No point using your perfume -___- The better ones are rail transport such as LRT, Monorail and train.. As i mentioned, only LRT is advisable. But, if you wanna go somewhere in KL town, such as Times quare and Bukit Bintang, You need to take Monorail transit at KL Sentral, this is VERY inconvenient and frustrating ! In my opinion, if Malaysia ever able to improve the public transportation just like Singapore, i will not buy a car. I don't have to bear the shrinkage values as well, why not then? I can avoid traffic jam, how cool is that? The fact is, in Malaysia, it's gonna jam forever. It will only get worsen, not any better.

So, you wanna hangout with nice dress, nice hair and nice makeup?
Hire a personal driver *wink*
You know what i mean. :3
